Steam Deck

Der „GameLab-Koffer Steam Deck” besteht aus einem Steam Deck auf der jederzeit Steam Deck-kompatible Spiele aus dem Steam-Store vorinstalliert werden und sofort spielbar sind. Im Gegensatz zu Nintendo Switch und Xbox ist das Steam Deck nicht an den Steam-Store gebunden: das auf Linux basierende SteamOS ermöglicht das Ausführen von nicht-herstellersignierter Software wie Webbrowser (Browser-Games), Emulatoren (Retro-Games) und selbstentwickelter Game-Prototypen. Mit Tastatur und Maus verwandelt sich das Steam Deck in einen mobilen Computer. Aufgrund der Neuheit der Konsole müssen Spiele jedoch hinsichtlich Interfacekompatibilität getestet werden, bevor sie reibunglos in der Praxis eingesetzt werden können.
